Lung and Spirit

The first job for a mammalian baby just after separating from his or her mother is to take in breath and the first crying breathed out from the lung inflated with the inhalation is the best music for the mother.

This first job is a very hard one, for the new-born baby has to inhale air into the lung which air has not come through previously. As soon as the baby is born, cells in the lung eject abundant surfactants all at once in alveoli to lower the surface tension of the lung and promptly to inhale air in cooperation with muscular activity. The baby will inhale amniotic fluid if this is done too early before the birth, and the baby will be in danger of oxygen deficit if this is done too late after the birth.

Don't you agree with my idea that somebody is blowing air in the baby at this important point? I am sure that the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life in Genesis (2:7), God breathes the breath of life into the nostrils of all the babies in the world. The Greek word, πνευμα, which means lung, is often used in Bible, it means spirit, wind, breath and life, instead of lung. The most impressive part where the word, πνευμα, was used to mean the Spirit given by God is the scene when John baptized Jesus in the Jordan." He saw the heaven opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him." (Mark: 1:10) The Letter to the Hebrews tells us that our spiritual Father is God.(Hebrews: 12:9) Then, " But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. (Job 32:8) After all, my idea seems to be right that God helps babies accomplish their first jobs.

On the contrary, the word εκπνεω (εκ means separated + πνεω means exhalation) means that the spirit comes out of the lung and is used in Mark 15:37 where Jesus died with a loud cry.

Mr. Tadashi Iwakuma, the author of the New Testament Greek-Japanese dictionary, suffered from the lung disease caused by tubercle bacillus, but completed the dictionary by taking enough πνευμα from God in his remaining small lung. His work must have been done because "the Spirit of truth" (John: 14:16) let him breathe and live and encouraged him.

Cloning God

The story started from the prophecy of Isaiah, who said that "Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son (Isaiah 7:14)." It is surprising for the Darwinians to have fulfilled this prophecy. They want to throw away this annoying event with an evolutionary theory of life, however, evolutionism itself is being debated by scientists.

The angel Gabriel informed Mary of having found favor with God, conceiving and bearing a son.(Luke 1:31) After that the story of the Bible jumped to the birth of first-born son wrapped in swaddling clothes in a manger.(Luke 2:6) We can see the face of Mary with arts of El Greco and many other artists, but it is so curious to check the process in the womb of Mary.

After taking out the nucleus from an egg, the nucleus of somatic cell is recombined and the cell is allowed to divide. The egg will become just same animal as the recombined somatic cell. It is the cloning animal. Since 1981 the cloning sheep, cows and goats have come up before us. As for the mankind President Fusein ordered one of the scientists in United States to make his clone man without success due to the mid-east war. I can not say if his clones work peaceful or not.

The honey bee and aphid may fertilize without sperm and it is reported that the virgin birth of frog or sea urchin could be induced xperimentally. However, in these cases the virgin birth gives us a female baby. Using recombination method of somatic cell, it could be the present either boy or girl with ease.

Taking out the nucleus from an egg, nucleus of God is put into the cell, and then the cloning God appears. To divide the cell it needs the work of holy spirit. Furthermore, we can understand easily about the affairs of Father's house (Luke 2:49) or "Woman" case, (John 2:4, 19:26) because Mary's DNA did not related to Jesus. If Jesus Christ be a clone God, the trinity and the knowledge about Bible from the childhood become reasonable things. For further details please ask God directly at the heaven. Theory of cloning God is more reasonable than evolutionism. Because the conversion of bear to whale written in the fifth edition of the Origin of Species disappeared in the sixth one.

Any way, we can not imagine about the delivery in a small cattle shed on a journey without sterilized machines, eye-drops, nor a bath for new-borne baby. However, the God, the husband Joseph, and horses or cow watched carefully this fantastic birth. Do not worry, Mary wrapped Jesus in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger. (Luke 2:7) The first Christmas was somedical.

Surgery

Let's talk about the first surgery in the world which God performed on one day long long ago. God formed a man out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life. Then, the man, Adam, became a living soul (Genesis: 2:7). God took Adam and put him into the Garden of Eden, but God somehow thought it was not good for Adam's mental health that he should be alone. God decided to make a partner for Adam by the surgery. First of all, God anesthetized Adam to cause a deep sleep falling upon him and took out one of his ribs from the chest wall.

After that God closed up the vacant room with the flesh instead of the rib, which was the end of the surgery. We know neither how long it took God nor which rib was taken out. But judging from the present structure of male ribs, we can assume it might be the 11th or 12th rib which connects to the spine in the back and is closed up with the flesh in the front because the 1st to 10th ribs are all made of bone or cartilage and are not closed up with flesh.

God made a woman from this rib and brought her to Adam. She suited Adam very well and then began to live together under God. They must have been happy if Adam was united with Eva into one flesh because Eva was taken out of Adam. It is difficult to endure hardship alone, but you can go through hardships side by side with your partner.

Incidentally, French word "cote" means rib and when we put two of them together like "cote a cote", it means side by side. Isn't is interesting?

Circumcision

"He that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you."(Genesis: 17:12) Jews still follow this order. This is a surgery to cut around a part of the foreskin of the penis. This is why true phimosis is not found among the Jews. It helps to prevent various diseases because smegma is not accumulated on exposed balanus.

It is notable that the incidence of penile cancer is very low among the Jews compared with other ethnic groups. There seems to be no difference in the incidence of true phimosis according to different areas in the world, which proves that the circumcision has contributed to prevent penile cancer. It is more interesting that we cannot find many cases of cervical cancer of the uterus among Jewish women. Cervical cancer occurs more often in multiparas and in women who are infected with herpes virus. If various viruses and bacteria proliferate at man's genitalia, his partner will get into trouble.

Therefore, circumcision, which has been considered to be a man's rite, is also important for a woman. The Jews once used circumcision as one of their tactics. Simeon and Levi, the sons of Jacob, learned that Shechem took their sister, Dinah, and lay with her, and defiled her. They told deceitfully that not only Shechem but also all the male Hivites had to be circumcised, or they could not be given Dinah. On the third day after the operations when the Hivites were sore, Simeon and Levi took their swords, came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males. (Genesis: 34).

After departing out of the land of Egypt in the wilderness, the rite of circumcision was not performed and they resumed the rite after they arrived at the land of Canaan.

Christians were circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. (Colossians 2:11) While the Jews remove a part of the flesh by circumcision, the Christians throw off all of their flesh with blessing and mercy of Jesus Christ.

Dislocation of Joint

Are you familiar with a disorder called "congenital dislocation of thigh joint" (LCC: luxatio coxae congenita)? We can find this disorder more in girl babies than in boy babies. If you diagnose it and start the treatment early, the baby will recover completely. Many people suffered from this disorder because in the past the methods of the therapy was not known well. In adults the thigh joint gets hardly dislocated. It may be an exceptional rare case that the hip joint of Jacob was dislocated because of his wrestling with the angel of God. However, even now there are some cases, although they are very rare, that sturdy young men, especially judo experts and Sumo wrestlers, experience the dislocation of hip joint.

Why did the messenger from the Heaven dislocate Jacob's hip joint? (Genesis 32:24) The angel could not help discouraging Jacob who was too eager in his desire for blessing. Jacob was indeed an expert to obtain blessing. Jacob was given a name "Israel" which meant that he fought with God. Many struggles have arisen over the nation "Israel". It may be because Israel originates from Jacob.

Many cases of hip joint dislocation are found in the Mediterranean countries, such as Italy. It coincides well with the old Bible story that Jacob wrestled near the Mediterranean Sea.

There is another modern major disease in hip joint. This is caisson disease in which head of thigh bone, a part of the hip joint, gets necrotic. When the atmospheric pressure changes drastically, the blood nitrogen is evaporated and obstructs a blood vessel. It often occurs in the head of the thigh bone. Skin diving is likely to cause this necrosis of the thigh bone head. You have to be careful, or the necrosis will occur even in the water depth of only 5m.

Spinal Damage

Poems and paintings by Tomihiro Hoshino fascinate us for they are based on his faith. When he was teaching in a period of gymnastic club activity as a gym teacher, he fell accidentally, which damaged the spine at the neck, cervical vertebrae, and lost the use of his limbs. But he encountered God in his despair. Jonathan had a son named Mephibosheth who broke his spine and got lame in both feet at the age of five. Bible says as they heard that the Philistines fought against Israel and slew King Saul and his sons such as Jonathan and Mephibosheth's nurse made haste to flee, that he fell, and became lame. (II. Samuel: 4:4)

David, who became the king of Israel after Saul was killed, hated the lame. (2 Samuel: 5:8) However, owing to the advice by Nathan, the prophet, "Go, do all that is in thine heart; for the Lord is with thee", (2 Samuel 7:3) David changed his policy. He brought Mephibosheth who was lame, took care of him and allowed him to eat at the King's table. He also called Ziba, a servant of Saul, and let him and his family live in Jerusalem and serve Mephibosheth. (2 Samuel 9) Mephibosheth must have felt just like the verse in Isaiah 35:6, "Then shall the lame man leap as an hart "Since Bible describes Mephibosheth had a son called Michas, we can assume his spinal damage was located at a lower part of the spine.

The symptoms depend on the location of spinal damage, for instance, whether the spinal damage is in cervical vertebrae or in lumber vertebrae. The case of Tomihiro Hoshino was considered to be one of the most serious ones. However, he made the first step forward and admired God only by the use of his mouth following Bible's teaching, "Do all things without murmurings and disputings" (Philippians: 2:14)

Fracture

There were many patients of fracture at an orthopedics' hospital where I once stayed for the treatment of my whiplash injury. The Lord God said to the serpent, "the woman's seed shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." (Genesis: 3:15) This is considered to represent the struggle between Christ and Satan. Jesus Christ was supposed to have his legs broken, instead of having his heels smashed, according to the customs of that days followed in death executions. Fracture leads a man to death because bone marrow in the bone pours into blood and blocks small arteries in lung, which makes breathing impossible.

What happened when Jusus was crucified? One of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear instead of breaking his legs. Blood and water which came out at that time were probably blood accumulated in his heart and pleural effusion which was yielded by serious hypoproteinemia. Anyway, his legs were not broken. We should not break a bone of the lamb of God who gets rid of all the sins in the world. (Exodus: 12:46) The prophet in the Psalms 34:20 was realized, "He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken."

You should be careful because recently cases of avulsion fracture of iliac bone are increasing especially among junior high and senior high school students who play soccer football.
